HOGAN PAVING // MONCTON

COMMERCIAL PAVING

IN MONCTON.

Hard-wearing asphalt for the lots, laneways and loading areas that keep Moncton businesses moving. Family-run since 1989, we pave for retail plazas off Mountain Road, light-industrial yards out toward Berry Mills, and storefronts across the Petitcodiac river valley.

BUILT FOR

MONCTON BUSINESS.

A commercial lot takes a beating a driveway never sees: delivery trucks, daily customer turnover, snowplows in February and forty-degree blacktop in July. We size the base and the asphalt depth around how your site actually gets used, not a one-line guess over the phone.

Property managers in Riverview and Dieppe call us because we work around the business, not over top of it. We can phase a parking lot so half stays open, pour overnight for a busy retail strip, and have the lines and bollards back before you unlock the doors.

This is our commercial paving service narrowed to the Moncton tri-community. For everything else we cover around the city, see the Moncton hub.

PAVING THAT SURVIVES

THE PETITCODIAC THAW.

The freeze-thaw cycle along the Petitcodiac is rough on commercial asphalt. Water seeps into a hairline crack, freezes overnight and levers the surface apart. Come spring, a neglected lot near Magnetic Hill or down Mountain Road turns into a field of potholes and standing meltwater.

We get ahead of that with proper grading so water sheds off the lot instead of pooling on it, a compacted granular base that does not shift in the thaw, and an asphalt mix rated for high-traffic commercial use. Then crack-filling and sealcoating on a schedule to add years to the surface.

Built right, a Moncton commercial lot should give you fifteen to twenty seasons before a full repave. Built cheap, you are patching it within three.

MONCTON COMMERCIAL PAVING QUESTIONS

Can you pave our lot without closing the business?

Almost always, yes. For an active plaza on Mountain Road or a storefront in Dieppe we phase the work so part of the lot stays open, or we pave overnight and have it cured and lined before morning. We map out access and customer flow with you before the first truck shows up.

When is the best time of year to pave commercially in Moncton?

Late spring through early fall, once the ground has fully come out of the Petitcodiac valley frost. Asphalt needs warm temperatures to compact properly, so we book Moncton, Riverview and Salisbury jobs from roughly May through October. Get on the schedule early, because that window fills up fast.
